Support Group Meeting with Lap Band Pre and Post Op-Ontario Area

I have attended my pre-op required meeting and was a bit disappointed that I was the only pre-op lap band patient and there were no post-op lap band patients in that group.  I am looking for a group that is either strickly lap band pre and post-op or a good mix of both types of WLS.  I live in Ontario.  Can anyone point me towards a meeting?  Thanks

I don't know of anything in that area.  I hope that someone comes on and can help you out.

Let me know what you find out...my DH had the lap band on July 3rd  and we would love to find a "band" friendly support group that is local.

I found one or actually 2 !!!  Rancho Specialty Hospital in Rancho Cucamungo on the 2nd Monday and 4th Thursday of each month.  It is free and open to anyone.  I called yesterday to verify.  Meetings begin at 6:30pm.  YEAH!!!

Driving Directions

Rancho Specialty Hospital is located close to the I-15 and 60 freeways. From the I-15, exit Foothill Blvd and go west until you reach Spruce Street (Marie Callendar’s on the corner).
